UniPv all’Annual meeting del progetto “Research & Innovation for Cities & Citizens”
(English below) Dal 12 al 14 marzo 2024 si è tenuto presso l’Università di Salamanca l’Annual meeting del progetto RI4C2 – Research & Innovation for Cities & Citizens, iniziativa che si inserisce nelle attività dell’Alleanza Europea EC2U di cui l’Università di Pavia fa parte.
Il progetto, gestito in Ateneo dal Servizio Ricerca e Terza Missione e dal Centro GLOBEC e finanziato nell’ambito dell’azione Horizon 2020 “Science with & for Society” (SwafS), mira a sviluppare una serie di strategie e strumenti condivisi per il rafforzamento delle attività comuni dell’Alleanza EC2U nei settori della ricerca e dell’innovazione.
Il meeting ha avuto l’obiettivo di presentare le principali attività realizzate nel corso del progetto, quali la promozione di un’agenda comune per la ricerca e l’innovazione all’interno delle 7 università partner, lo sviluppo di database per il censimento e la condivisione di risorse e buone pratiche di Citizen Science e Open Science, la realizzazione di video masterclass su tematiche relative al gender balance in ambito Research & Innovation e di Virtual Lectures sul tema innovazione e sostenibilità.
Hanno partecipato al meeting in rappresentanza di UniPv la prof.ssa Daniela Ovadia, leader del Work Package 4 assegnato ad UniPv, e Gaia Garancini, Local coordinator del progetto.

The University of Salamanca hosted from the 12th to the 14th of March the Annual Meeting of the RI4C2 – Research & Innovation for Cities & Citizens project, an initiative related to the participation of the University of Pavia in the EC2U Alliance.
The RI4C2 project, which is managed jointly by the Research and Third Mission Unit and the GLOBEC center and was funded under Horizon 2020 “Science with & for Society” (SwafS) action, aims to develop strategies and tools to strengthen shared activities in the field of research and innovation within the EC2U alliance.
The meeting's main aim was to present the activities carried out during the project so far, such as the promotion of a common Agenda for research and innovation within the 7 partner universities, the development of databases for the mapping and sharing of Citizen Science and Open Science resources and good practices, the creation of video Masterclasses on issues related to gender balance in the Research & Innovation field and Virtual Lectures on innovation and sustainability.
The University of Pavia took part in the event with the participation of Professor Daniela Ovadia, leader of the Work Package 4 of the project which is assigned to UniPv, and Gaia Garancini, Local coordinator of the project.
