“AI in Health and Medical Technology”: partecipa alla EC2U Summer School organizzata dalla JKU University di Linz
(English below) Dal 22 al 24 settembre 2026, l'Università Johannes Kepler di Linz ospiterà una EC2U Summer School sul tema dell’Intelligenza Artificiale nell’ambito della salute e delle tecnologie mediche, organizzata in collaborazione con l'EC2U Virtual Institute for Good Health and Well-being (GLADE) e con la partecipazione dei membri del board del Work Package EC2U.
Chi parteciperà esplorerà un settore emergente e ad alto impatto, infatti la rapida evoluzione dell’IA ha un peso particolarmente elevato nelle applicazioni mediche. I temi affrontati includeranno le principali implicazioni legate all’IA in diverse applicazioni e tecnologie mediche, nonché gli aspetti sociologici e giuridici di queste applicazioni nel settore sanitario. Collegando teoria e pratica, gli studenti e le studentesse avranno anche l’opportunità di mettersi in gioco, passando da un apprendimento passivo alla risoluzione applicata di problemi.
Inoltre, questo evento interdisciplinare e internazionale favorirà la capacità di comunicare tra discipline diverse e consentirà di sviluppare un pensiero sistemico sulle sfide della sanità, rafforzando al contempo le soft skill e la crescita personale. L’evento offrirà anche orientamento professionale, oltre a scambi internazionali e culturali, creando così prospettive a lungo termine.

“AI in Health and Medical Technology”: take part in the EC2U Summer School organized by Johannes Kepler University (JKU) in Linz
From 22 to 24 September 2026, Johannes Kepler University Linz will host an EC2U Summer School on Artificial Intelligence in Health and Medical Technology, organised in collaboration with the EC2U Virtual Institute for Good Health and Well-being (GLADE) and with the participation of members of the EC2U Work Package Board.
Participants will explore an emerging, high-impact field, as the rapid evolution of AI is having a particularly significant impact on medical applications. The programme will address the main implications of AI across various medical applications and technologies, as well as the sociological and legal aspects of these applications in the healthcare sector. By bridging theory and practice, students will have the opportunity to actively engage, moving from passive learning to applied problem-solving.
Furthermore, this interdisciplinary and international event will foster the ability to communicate across different disciplines and support the development of systems-level thinking on healthcare challenges, while also strengthening soft skills and personal growth. The event will also provide career guidance, as well as opportunities for international and cultural exchange, thereby creating long-term perspectives.
