Primi giorni a Pavia per gli studenti di “European languages” e “Lifeline”. I joint master EC2U inaugurano il terzo ciclo di studi
(English below) Primi giorni di lezione a Pavia per gli studenti dei joint masters promossi dall’Alleanza europea EC2U (European campus of City Universities).
Sono sette le studentesse ammesse ad “European Languages, Cultures and Societies in Contact” che inizieranno qui il proprio percorso formativo. Con loro, anche cinque studenti iscritti a “Lifeline- Lifelong Well-being and Healthy Ageing”, giunti in città per il terzo semestre del master congiunto, come previsto dal loro piano di studi.
La EC2U Unit e l’Admission Office hanno incontrato gli studenti per fornire loro tutte le informazioni utili ad ambientarsi e strutturare al meglio la propria esperienza accademica e di mobilità internazionale, che da Pavia li porterà a studiare nei diversi atenei partner di EC2U.
La forte interdisciplinarità e la vocazione internazionale sono i due aspetti peculiari dei joint master EC2U, caratterizzati dalla possibilità di frequentare fino a quattro Università dell’Alleanza. Oltre all’Ateneo pavese comprende l’università di Poitiers (Francia), Coimbra (Portogallo), Salamanca (Spagna), Jena (Germania), Iasi (Romania), Turku (Finlandia), Linz (Austria). Le destinazioni sono definite in base al rispettivo programma di studi; la laurea sarà riconosciuta in tutti i Paesi scelti per completare il percorso accademico.
European languages: lingue, culture e società senza barriere
Ispirato all’Obiettivo di Sviluppo sostenibile “Educazione di qualità” (SDG #4) dell’Agenda 2030 delle Nazioni Unite, il corso di laurea magistrale “European Languages, Cultures and Societies in contact” è coordinato a Pavia dalla Prof.ssa Elisabetta Jezek e attivato dal Dipartimento di Studi Umanistici, in collaborazione con i Dipartimenti di Scienze Politiche e Sociali, Ingegneria Industriale e dell’Informazione e di Matematica. Fornisce agli studenti una conoscenza approfondita del contesto linguistico e del panorama socio-culturale europeo, utilizzando metodi di ricerca accademica avanzati. Tra le opzioni fornite da ciascuna università frequentata, gli studenti avranno libera scelta sui corsi da seguire.
Lifeline: vivere bene e invecchiare in salute
Ispirato all’Obiettivo di Sviluppo sostenibile “Good Health and Well-Being (SDG#3), il corso di laurea magistrale Lifeline (LM9) è coordinato dalla Prof.ssa Rossella Nappi e afferisce al Dipartimento di Scienze Clinico Chirurgiche Diagnostiche e Pediatriche. Fornisce agli studenti le conoscenze, le abilità, le competenze professionali e di ricerca necessarie agli specialisti che si occupano del benessere permanente e l'invecchiamento in buona salute. Dopo la laurea, potranno inserirsi nelle istituzioni sanitarie pubbliche o nelle aziende private del settore biomedico e biopsicosociale.
First days in Pavia for students of “European languages” and “Lifeline”. The EC2U joint masters inaugurate the third cycle of studies
First days of courses in Pavia, for students of the joint master's programs promoted by the European EC2U Alliance (European Campus of City Universities).
Seven students have been enrolled in the “European Languages, Cultures and Societies in Contact” program, starting their academic journey here. Five students enrolled in the “Lifeline - Lifelong Well-being and Healthy Ageing” program have also arrived in the city for their third semester.
The EC2U Unit and the Admission Office met with the students and provided all useful information to help them settle in and structure their international mobility experience, which will take them from Pavia to different EC2U partner universities.
The strong interdisciplinarity and international focus are two key features of the EC2U joint master's programs, offering the opportunity to attend up to four universities within the Alliance. In addition to the University of Pavia, the alliance includes the universities of Poitiers (France), Coimbra (Portugal), Salamanca (Spain), Jena (Germany), Iasi (Romania), Turku (Finland), and Linz (Austria).Destinations are defined by each respective study program, with a degree for every country visited.
European languages: languages, cultures, and societies without borders
Inspired by the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal "Quality Education" (SDG #4) from the 2030 Agenda, the master's degree program “European Languages, Cultures and Societies in Contact” is coordinated in Pavia by Prof. Elisabetta Jezek and offered by the Department of Humanities, in collaboration with the Departments of Political and Social Sciences, Industrial and Information Engineering, and Mathematics. The program provides students with an in-depth understanding of the European linguistic context and socio-cultural landscape, using advanced academic research methods. Students can choose which courses they would like to attend, in order to shape their academic path according to their interests and perspectives.
Lifeline: living well and healthy ageing
Inspired by the Sustainable Development Goal “Good Health and Well-Being” (SDG #3), the master's degree Lifeline (LM9) is coordinated by Prof. Rossella Nappi and affiliated with the Department of Clinical-Surgical, Diagnostic, and Pediatric Sciences. The program provides students with the knowledge, skills, and professional and research competencies needed by specialists in permanent well-being and healthy ageing. Methodology and on-field experience are the main assets of this program: after graduation, they can work in public health institutions or private companies in the biomedical and biopsychosocial sectors.
