ErasMAG Training, terza edizione a Pavia: trenta studenti e studentesse internazionali pronti a diventare Erasmus reporter
(English below) Trenta studenti e studentesse, 20 nazionalità, quattro continenti e un racconto lungo 6 mesi per scoprire tutta l’Europa attraverso gli occhi dell’Erasmus. Il 14 e 15 aprile 2026, Pavia ha accolto la terza edizione dell’ErasMAG Training: due giorni di formazione per 30 studenti e studentesse da tutto il mondo che, nei prossimi 6 mesi, saranno in Erasmus in un’università europea. Con il supporto di quanto imparato racconteranno la loro esperienza di studio all’estero sul magazine online ErasMAG e sui suoi canali social.
L’evento si è svolto negli spazi del Dipartimento di Scienze economiche e aziendali dell’Università di Pavia. Accolti dal coordinatore del progetto ErasMAG, Carlo Bitetto (Fondazione garagErasmus), dal Prorettore agli Affari Internazionali Matteo Alvaro, dalla responsabile Mobilità Internazionale dell’Università di Pavia, Michela Cobelli, gli studenti e le studentesse hanno assistito a una lectio magistralis del professor Stefano Denicolai, docente di Business strategy e delegato alla Comunicazione e Branding dell’Università di Pavia.
Nel pomeriggio di martedì, il direttore di ErasMAG (e de «La Provincia Pavese») Giacomo Bedeschi ha partecipato alla prima parte del training con una lezione aperta e orientata a condividere nozioni di giornalismo ma soprattutto esperienze professionali e personali con gli aspiranti reporter.
La formazione è stata condotta dalle giornaliste Francesca Ferri e Lidia Gallanti, che saranno le loro tutor per i prossimi 6 mesi, per finire con un focus sulla comunicazione social, curata dai responsabili dell’ufficio comunicazione ErasMAG, Lucrezia Alfieri e Ivan Cafà. La due giorni pavese è solo l’inizio di un percorso che proseguirà nei prossimi mesi tra università, città e culture diverse, dando voce a esperienze, prospettive e storie di mobilità internazionale. Un racconto corale che accompagnerà gli studenti lungo il loro Erasmus+, contribuendo a costruire uno sguardo condiviso sull’Europa di oggi attraverso i loro occhi.
Un anno con ErasMAG
Continua il viaggio nel mondo Erasmus+, iniziato un anno fa con il primo training all’Università di Pavia e decollato ad ottobre 2025, con la pubblicazione on line di ErasMAG. Ad oggi sono 60 gli studenti e le studentesse che hanno pubblicato i loro articoli su ErasMAG, raccontando curiosità, sfide e scoperte dall’esperienza Erasmus+, dando consigli e indicazioni ai compagni di tutta Europa che pianificano di partire. In totale, su ErasMAG sono stati pubblicati finora 110 tra articoli e interviste realizzati dagli studenti. Altre decine di articoli, approfondimenti e interviste realizzati da giornalisti professionisti completano l’offerta informativa del portale.
Ad oggi, i Paesi ospitanti raccontati dagli Erasmus Reporters sono 16: Austria, Belgio, Danimarca, Estonia, Francia, Germania, Ungheria, Italia, Lettonia, Lituania, Paesi Bassi, Norvegia, Polonia, Portogallo, Spagna e Svezia. Ventisei, invece, le diverse nazionalità a cui appartengono gli Erasmus Reporter: Albania, Repubblica Ceca, Francia, Germania, Ungheria, Irlanda, Italia, Paesi Bassi, Polonia, Portogallo, Romania, Spagna, Turchia, Russia, Bangladesh, Giappone, India, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Brasile, Colombia, Ecuador, Egitto, Gambia, Ghana, Palestina.

ErasMAG è il primo magazine - in lingua inglese - dedicato al programma europeo di mobilità, studio e formazione all’estero, scritto da giornalisti e da studenti e studentesse Erasmus+. Nasce dalla collaborazione tra il Gruppo Sae Spa (editore dei quotidiani Il Tirreno, La Nuova Sardegna, La Nuova Ferrara, Gazzetta di Modena, Gazzetta di Reggio Emilia e La Provincia Pavese) e Fondazione garagErasmus, formalmente riconosciuta dalla Commissione europea e membro della Erasmus+ Student & Alumni Alliance, che supporta ErasMAG. ErasMAG Training, third edition in Pavia:
thirty international students ready to become Erasmus reporters
Thirty students, 20 nationalities, four continents and a six-month journey to discover Europe through the eyes of Erasmus. On April 14 and 15, Pavia hosted the third edition of the ErasMAG Training: two days of hands-on experience for 30 students from all over the world who, over the next six months, will take part in the Erasmus+ programme at universities across Europe. Building on what they have learned, they will share their study abroad experiences on the online magazine ErasMAG and its social media channels.
The event took place at the Department of Economics and Business of the University of Pavia. Welcomed by the ErasMAG project coordinator Carlo Bitetto (garagErasmus Foundation), the UNIPV Vice-Rector for International Affairs Matteo Alvaro, the Head of International Mobility at the University of Pavia Michela Cobelli, students attended a lectio magistralis by Professor Stefano Denicolai, Professor of Business Strategy and Delegate for Communication and Branding at the University of Pavia.
On Tuesday afternoon, the director of ErasMAG (and of La Provincia Pavese), Giacomo Bedeschi, joined the first part of the training with an open lecture aimed at sharing not only journalism principles but also professional and personal experiences with aspiring reporters.
The training was led by journalists Francesca Ferri and Lidia Gallanti, who will mentor the students over the next six months, and concluded with a focus on social media communication, led by ErasMAG’s communication team, Lucrezia Alfieri and Ivan Cafà. The two-day event in Pavia marks the beginning of a journey that will continue over the coming months across universities, cities and cultures, giving voice to experiences, perspectives and stories of international mobility. A collective narrative that will accompany students throughout their Erasmus+ experience, contributing to a shared view of today’s Europe through their eyes.
A year with ErasMAG
The journey into the world of Erasmus+ continues, having started a year ago with the first training at the University of Pavia and officially launched in October 2025 with the online publication of ErasMAG. To date, 60 students have published their articles on ErasMAG, sharing insights, challenges and discoveries from their Erasmus+ experiences, as well as advice for fellow students across Europe planning to go abroad. In total, 110 articles and interviews have been published on ErasMAG so far. Dozens of additional articles, features and interviews produced by professional journalists further enrich the platform’s content.
So far, Erasmus Reporters have covered 16 host countries: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain and Sweden. The Erasmus Reporters themselves represent 26 different nationalities: Albania, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Turkey, Russia, Bangladesh, Japan, India, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Egypt, Gambia, Ghana and Palestine.

ErasMAG is the first English-language magazine dedicated to the European programme for mobility, study and training abroad, written by both professional journalists and Erasmus students.
