EC2U ELEVATE lancia le sue attività per rafforzare l’innovazione e l’imprenditorialità in Europa
( English below) EC2U ELEVATE (Entrepreneurship learning, Education, and Value-creation through Technology and Ecosystems), il nuovo progetto dell’Alleanza EC2U dedicato a innovazione e imprenditorialità.
I partner del progetto si sono incontrati presso l’Università di Coimbra (UC) il 30 settembre e il 1° ottobre per dare avvio al progetto. Per l’Università di Pavia hanno partecipato Luca Cavone ricercatore del Dipartimento di Scienze Economiche e Aziendali e Lucia Marazzi, responsabile del servizio Terza Missione dell’ateneo, entrambi membri del gruppo di lavoro EC2U sull’innovazione.
Gli incontri di lavoro hanno riunito i diversi partner per discutere e pianificare le attività da sviluppare, tra cui: programmi di formazione sull’imprenditorialità e l’innovazione, iniziative di co-creazione, azioni di capacity building rivolte a studenti, ricercatori e personale accademico, nonché meccanismi di supporto per lo sviluppo di progetti innovativi e nuove startup.
Nei prossimi due anni, EC2U ELEVATE lavorerà allo sviluppo di nuove forme di collaborazione tra studenti, ricercatori, personale docente, imprese, città e organizzazioni della società civile. L’obiettivo è rafforzare la cultura dell’innovazione e dell’imprenditorialità nelle istituzioni coinvolte, favorendo la creazione di soluzioni per rispondere alle sfide della società e promuovendo il trasferimento di conoscenze verso l’economia e la società.
Guidato dall’UC e finanziato con 1.999.903 euro dall’European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) nell’ambito dell’EIT Higher Education Initiative, EC2U ELEVATE si svolgerà nel quadro dell’Alleanza EC2U (European Campus of City-Universities), che oltre alle Università di Coimbra e di Pavia riunisce le università Friedrich Schiller di Jena (Germania), Alexandru Ioan Cuza di Iași (Romania), l’Università di Salamanca (Spagna), la Johannes Kepler University di Linz (Austria), Umeå University (Svezia), University of Poitiers (Francia) e l’univeristà Turun yliopisto di Turku (Finlandia). EC2U ELEVATE coinvolge inoltre il Pedro Nunes Institute, un incubatore di primo piano con sede a Coimbra, e OXENTIA LTD, una società di consulenza britannica specializzata in innovazione e tecnologia.
EC2U ELEVATE Launched to Boost Innovation and Entrepreneurship Across Europe
Bringing universities closer to the European innovation ecosystem while strengthening collaboration between academia, businesses, cities and civil society: this is the aim of EC2U ELEVATE (Entrepreneurship learning, Education, and Value-creation through Technology and Ecosystems), the new EC2U Alliance project dedicated to innovation and entrepreneurship.
The project partners met at the University of Coimbra (UC) on September 30 and October 1 to launch the project. The University of Pavia was represented by Luca Cavone, researcher at the Department of Economics and Management, and Lucia Marazzi, Head of the Technology Transfer Office (TTO), both members of the EC2U working group on innovation.
The working meetings brought together the different partners to discuss and plan the activities to be developed within the framework of EC2U ELEVATE, including training programmes in entrepreneurship and innovation, co-creation initiatives, capacity-building actions for students, researchers and academic staff, as well as support mechanisms for the development of innovative projects and new startups.
Over the next two years, EC2U ELEVATE will work on developing new forms of collaboration among students, researchers, academic staff, businesses, cities and civil society organizations. The aim is to strengthen the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship within the participating institutions, fostering the creation of solutions to address societal challenges and promoting knowledge transfer to the economy and society.
