Voice of Students: l’esperienza studenti al Forum EC2U a Poitiers
(English below) Si è svolta dal 16 al 19 ottobre a Poitiers (Francia), presso l’Université de Poitiers, la settima edizione dell’EC2U Forum, l’evento che ogni sei mesi riunisce tutta la community dell’Alleanza per conferenze, meeting, workshop, attività sociali e culturali.
Il Forum è stato l’occasione per celebrare il successo della fase pilota dell’Alleanza e inaugurare la fase consolidata che prenderà avvio a partire dal 1° novembre.
Durante le sessioni del Forum, i partecipanti sono stati chiamati a riflettere su temi riguardanti gli obiettivi di sviluppo sostenibile delle Nazioni Unite (UNSDGs), con particolare attenzione alla buona salute e al benessere (SDG3), all’istruzione di qualità (SDG4) e alle città e comunità sostenibili (SDG11).

Pavia ha partecipato all’EC2U Forum come di consueto con una corposa delegazione, guidata dal Magnifico Rettore Francesco Svelto, la Pro-Rettrice all’Internazionalizzazione Prof.ssa Antonella Forlino e dal Pro-Rettore alla ricerca Federico Forneris e composta da docenti, studenti, personale amministrativo dell’Università coinvolti nei lavori dell’Alleanza, oltre ai rappresentanti del Comune di Pavia - Ufficio Europa, del Polo Tecnologico di Pavia, dell’Associazione studentesca STEP ESN Pavia e dei nuovi partner associati AIESEC, CUS Pavia e Policlinico San Matteo.
La delegazione degli studenti UniPv, insieme a tutti gli studenti delle altre università dell’Alleanza (Coimbra, Iasi, Jena, Poitiers-coordinatore, Salamanca, Turku), ha lavorato con energia e passione alla preparazione della sessione pubblica della Voice of Students, un’occasione in cui è stata data loro la possibilità di esprimersi su un tema specifico.
Il tema scelto per questa edizione è stato quello dell’inclusività di genere e durante le giornate del Forum gli studenti hanno collaborato con vari artisti durante workshop tematici in cui hanno potuto esprimere tutta la loro creatività al fine di realizzare delle restituzioni artistiche, spaziando dalle mostre fotografiche a coreografie di danza e spettacoli teatrali, esibiti durante la sessione conclusiva della Voice of Students.
Durante la settimana gli studenti hanno avuto la possibilità di partecipare a varie attività sportive organizzate dal campus dell’Università di Poitiers, alla mobility fair in cui le varie università dell’Alleanza hanno presentato le loro opportunità di mobilità e ad alcune tavole rotonde tenutesi nell’ateneo; ma non sono di certo mancate le attività di svago organizzate grazie al supporto di ESN Poitiers.
Il tifo della delegazione studentesca di Pavia è stato inoltre fondamentale per la tanto agognata vittoria del nostro Team di ricercatori nella finale della EC2U Science Battle contro l’Università di Jena!

Il Forum EC2U è stata una ricca opportunità di confronto e di scambio per i nostri studenti, che si sono detti entusiasti della loro esperienza. Riportiamo a seguito alcune delle loro testimonianze.
“È stata la mia prima esperienza di questo tipo ed ero particolarmente emozionata. Ho avuto la fortuna di conoscere persone straordinarie sia dalla mia università che provenienti da altri Paesi Europei. La cosa più bella è stata scambiare e condividere le mie opinioni ed esperienze sul tema della parità di genere e inclusione. E poi, ci siamo divertiti tanto. Consiglio davvero di provare a candidarsi per il prossimo Forum, ne vale davvero la pena!” Arianna, Scienze Politiche e delle Relazioni Internazionali.
“Mi è piaciuto molto studiare l’inclusività di genere attraverso l'arte. È stata una bella pausa dalla routine dei miei studi mentre imparavo un argomento che era comunque strettamente legato. Mi è piaciuto anche incontrare studenti provenienti da tutta Europa e condividere le nostre esperienze nelle diverse università dell'alleanza” Estella, Corso Harvey (Medicina).

Voice of Students: the student experience at the EC2U Forum in Poitiers
The seventh edition of the EC2U Forum took place from 16 to 19 October in Poitiers (France), at the Université de Poitiers, the event that every six months brings together the entire Alliance community for conferences, meetings, workshops, social and cultural activities.
The Forum was an opportunity to celebrate the success of the pilot phase of the alliance and inaugurate the consolidated phase that will start on 1 November.
During the sessions of the Forum, participants were asked to reflect on issues related to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs), with a focus on good health and well-being (SDG3), quality education (SDG4) and sustainable cities and communities (SDG11).

Pavia participated in the EC2U Forum as usual with a large delegation, led by the Rector Francesco Svelto, the Pro-Rector for Internationalization Prof. Antonella Forlino and the Pro-Rector for Research Federico Forneris and composed of professors, students, administrative staff of the University involved in the work of the Alliance, as well as representatives of the Municipality of Pavia - Europe Office, the Polo Tecnologico di Pavia, the STEP ESN Pavia Student Association and the new associated partners AIESEC, CUS Pavia and Policlinico San Matteo.
The UniPv student delegation, together with all the students of the other universities of the alliance (Coimbra, Iasi, Jena, Poitiers-coordinator, Salamanca, Turku), worked with energy and passion in the preparation of the public session of the Voice of Students, an occasion in which they were given the opportunity to express themselves on a specific topic.
The theme chosen for this edition was that of gender inclusivity and every day the students collaborated with various artists in thematic workshops in which they were able to express all their creativity to create artistic restitutions, ranging from photographic exhibitions to dance choreographies and theatrical performances, exhibited during the final session of the Voice of Students.
During the week, the students had the opportunity to participate in various sports activities organized by the campus of the University of Poitiers, at the Mobility Fair where the various universities of the Alliance presented their mobility opportunities, and in some round tables held at the university; but there was certainly no shortage of leisure activities organized thanks to the support of ESN Poitiers.
The cheering of the student delegation from Pavia was also fundamental for the long-awaited victory of our team of researchers in the final of the EC2U Science Battle against the University of Jena!

The EC2U Forum was a rich opportunity for discussion and exchange for our students who said they were enthusiastic about their experience. Here are some of their testimonies.
"It was my first experience of this kind, and I was particularly excited. I was lucky enough to meet amazing people both from my university and from other European countries. The best thing was to exchange and share my opinions and experiences on the topic of gender equality and inclusion. And then, we had so much fun. “I really enjoyed studying gender inclusivity through art. It was a nice break from studying while learning a subject that was still closely related.
