Ricerca e didattica per un’Educazione di qualità: candidature aperte per l’EC2U VIQE Doctoral Workshop dedicato ai dottorandi
(English below) Sei dottorando/a e il tuo ambito di ricerca riguarda l’educazione? Hai l’opportunità di partecipare a un’esperienza internazionale unica: il VIQE Joint Doctoral Workshop “Educational Sciences – Developing Competencies for Research and Teaching in Education”, che si terrà dal 12 al 14 novembre 2025 presso la Johannes Kepler University di Linz (Austria).
L’iniziativa è promossa dall’Alleanza EC2U (European Campus of City-Universities), di cui l’Università di Pavia fa parte, e rappresenta un’occasione preziosa per condividere la tua ricerca, confrontarti con altri giovani studiosi e contribuire allo sviluppo del Virtual Institute of Quality Education (VIQE).
Durante il workshop, i partecipanti avranno la possibilità di presentare il proprio progetto di ricerca in formato poster, confrontarsi in un contesto accademico internazionale con colleghi e docenti provenienti dalle università partner e avviare collaborazioni future.
Possono candidarsi dottorandi e dottorande provenienti dalle nove università EC2U - tra cui l’Università di Pavia - che svolgano attività di ricerca legate al campo dell’educazione.
Sono disponibili tre borse di mobilità EC2U per ciascuna università partner.
Come partecipare:
Per partecipare è necessario inviare un abstract di almeno 300 parole relativo alla propria tesi di dottorato. Gli studenti selezionati presenteranno il loro lavoro durante il workshop nella modalità poster session.
Le candidature - insieme all’abstract - devono essere inviate via e-mail all’indirizzo ec2u@unipv.it, entro il 31 ottobre 2025.

Research and Teaching for Quality Education: applications now open to PhD students for the EC2U VIQE Doctoral Workshop
Are you a PhD student whose research focuses on education?
You now have the opportunity to take part in a unique international experience: the VIQE Joint Doctoral Workshop “Educational Sciences – Developing Competencies for Research and Teaching in Education”, which will take place from 12 to 14 November 2025 at Johannes Kepler University in Linz, Austria.
The initiative is promoted by the EC2U Alliance (European Campus of City-Universities), of which the University of Pavia is a member. It offers a valuable opportunity to share your research, engage with fellow early-career scholars, and contribute to the development of the Virtual Institute of Quality Education (VIQE).
During the workshop, participants will have the chance to present their research projects in a poster session, engage in an international academic exchange with PhD students and faculty from partner universities, and build future collaborations.
PhD students from the nine EC2U partner universities – including the University of Pavia – whose research is related to the field of education are eligible to apply.
Three EC2U mobility grants are available for each partner university.
How to apply:
To apply, please submit an abstract (minimum 300 words) describing your doctoral research. Selected participants will present their work in poster format during the workshop.
