L'Università di Pavia partecipa ad APAIE 2025 a Delhi per rafforzare la cooperazione internazionale in Asia
(English below) L'Università di Pavia conferma il suo impegno nell'internazionalizzazione partecipando alla conferenza APAIE 2025 (Asia-Pacific Association for International Education), che si è tenuta a Nuova Delhi dal 24 al 28 marzo 2025 e che quest’anno ha avuto come tema: “Cultivating Global Citizens for the Future: The Higher Education Imperative in the Asia Pacific and Beyond”.
APAIE rappresenta un'importante piattaforma per le istituzioni accademiche di tutto il mondo, favorendo il dialogo e la cooperazione nel settore dell'istruzione superiore in Asia. La presenza dell'Università di Pavia all'evento è stata un'opportunità per incontrare università di tutto il mondo e ampliare le opportunità di mobilità internazionale per i nostri studenti e docenti. L’obiettivo è stringere nuovi accordi e offrire sempre più destinazioni dove vivere un’esperienza di studio all’estero.
Durante la conferenza, i rappresentanti dell'Università di Pavia hanno avuto l'opportunità di:
- presentare l'offerta formativa internazionale e le iniziative di mobilità accademica dell'Ateneo;
- discutere nuove opportunità di cooperazione accademica e di ricerca;
- partecipare a workshop e sessioni dedicate alle tendenze emergenti dell'istruzione superiore;
- rafforzare la rete di collaborazioni globali, con particolare attenzione alla regione Asia-Pacifico.
Durante la settimana, la delegazione di UniPv ha avuto anche l’occasione di visitare alcuni atenei indiani, tra cui Jindal Global University, St. Stephens University; South Asian University; Jamia Millia Islamia; Jawaharlal Nehru University, Ashoka University.
UniPv è stata rappresentata dal Prof. Axel Berkosfky (Delegato del Rettore per l’internazionalizzazione nel Far East) e dalla Dott.ssa Michela Cobelli (Responsabile della U.O.C. Mobilità Internazionale) all’interno del padiglione “Study in Italy” coordinato dall’Associazione UNITALIA insieme all’Ambasciata italiana di New Delhi e dall’Addetto Scientifico, prof. Sergio Ledda.
La partecipazione ad APAIE 2025 si inserisce nella strategia di internazionalizzazione dell'Università di Pavia, volta a promuovere una maggiore mobilità di studenti e docenti, a sviluppare programmi congiunti e a rafforzare la presenza dell'Ateneo nei network internazionali.
The University of Pavia participates in APAIE 2025 in Delhi to Strengthen International Cooperation in Asia
The University of Pavia reaffirms its commitment to internationalization by taking part in the APAIE 2025 conference (Asia-Pacific Association for International Education), held in New Delhi from March 24 to 28, 2025. This year’s theme was: "Cultivating Global Citizens for the Future: The Higher Education Imperative in the Asia Pacific and Beyond".
APAIE serves as a key platform for academic institutions worldwide, fostering dialogue and cooperation in higher education across Asia. The University of Pavia’s presence at the event provided an opportunity to engage with universities from around the globe and expand international mobility opportunities for students and faculty. The goal is to establish new agreements and offer an increasing number of destinations for study abroad experiences.
During the conference, representatives from the University of Pavia had the opportunity to:
- present the university’s international academic offerings and mobility initiatives;
- discuss new opportunities for academic and research collaboration;
- participate in workshops and sessions on emerging trends in higher education;
- strengthen global partnerships, with a particular focus on the Asia-Pacific region.
Throughout the week, the UniPv delegation also had the chance to visit several Indian universities, including Jindal Global University, St. Stephens University; South Asian University; Jamia Millia Islamia; Jawaharlal Nehru University, Ashoka University.
UniPv was represented by Prof. Axel Berkofsky (Rector's Delegate for Internationalization in the Far East) and Dr. Michela Cobelli (Head of the International Mobility Unit) within the "Study in Italy" pavilion, coordinated by the UNITALIA Association in collaboration with the Italian Embassy in New Delhi and the Scientific Attaché, Prof. Sergio Ledda.
Participation in APAIE 2025 is part of the University of Pavia’s internationalization strategy, aimed at enhancing student and faculty mobility, developing joint programs, and strengthening the university’s presence in international networks.
