EC2U 2.0: Pavia dà il benvenuto ai colleghi di Linz
(English below) L’Università di Pavia dà il benvenuto alla delegazione dell’Università Johannes Kepler di Linz - JKU, Austria, nel quadro dell’Alleanza "European Campus of City-Universities" (EC2U).
La JKU ha appena aderito all’alleanza e nell’ambito dell’attività "Fast Track to Integration" rimarrà qui per tre giorni, durante i quali discuterà le attività dei Working Packages (WP) che svolgerà durante la fase consolidata del progetto (1 novembre 2023 - 30 ottobre 2027).
I team di Pavia e Linz affronteranno in particolare i seguenti punti:
a) il WP3 "Digital EC2U Alliance", con un focus su Digital Pedagogy e Connect Center per costruire congiuntamente una roadmap tecnica per l’ingresso del nuovo partner di EC2U;
b) il WP8 "EC2U Lifelong Career", con particolare attenzione alle tematiche di Lifelong Learning e Doctoral Training. Infatti, le due università saranno i leader di questi due WP durante la nuova fase EC2U.
La delegazione lavorerà al KiroLab di San Felice e visiterà alcune parti storiche dell'Università, il centro della città e il polo tecnologico e scientifico, compresi alcuni laboratori situati negli edifici dei poli Cravino e Nave. La delegazione di Linz incontrerà anche altri colleghi coinvolti in EC2U, l’ufficio Globec e scopriranno l’Ambassador programme svolto dalla U.O.C. Marketing e Recruitment.
L'alleanza europea "European Campus of City-University" (EC2U) riunisce otto università storiche e multidisciplinari che condividono una forte vocazione internazionale e, allo stesso tempo, un forte legame col territorio, fattore che le rende università-città. Oltre a Pavia e Linz, l'alleanza comprende anche: l’Università di Coimbra (Portogallo), l’Università di „Alexandru Ioan Cuza” di Iași (Romania), l’Università Friedrich Schiller di Jena (Germania), l’Università di Poitiers (Francia), l’Università di Salamanca (Spagna) e l’Università di Turku (Finlandia).

EC2U 2.0: Pavia welcomes the colleagues from Linz
The University of Pavia welcomes a delegation from the Johannes Kepler University of Linz - JKU, Austria, in the framework of the “European Campus of City-Universities” (EC2U) Alliance.
JKU has just joined the alliance and within the “Fast Track to Integration” activity they will stay here for three days, during which they will discuss the Working Packages (WP) activities that they will carry out during the consolidated phase of the project (1st November 2023 - 30th October 2027).
The Pavia and Linz teams will especially discuss:
a) the WP3 “Digital EC2U Alliance”, with a focus on Digital Pedagogy and Connect Center in order to jointly build a Technical roadmap for onboarding the new partner of EC2U;
b) the WP8 “EC2U Lifelong Career”, with a focus on Lifelong Learning and Doctoral Training. In fact, the two universities will be the leaders for these two WPs during the new EC2U phase.
The delegation will work at the San Felice KiroLab and will visit some historical parts of the University, the city centre, and the technological and scientific pole, including some of the laboratories situated in the Cravino and Nave buildings. The delegation of Linz will also meet other colleagues involved in EC2U, the Globec office and they will discover the Ambassador programme carried out by the Marketing and Recruitment unit.
The European alliance “European Campus of City-University” (EC2U) brings together eight historic and multidisciplinary universities that share a strong international vocation and at the same time strong local roots, a factor that makes them university-cities. Aside from Pavia and Linz, the alliance also includes: the University of Coimbra (Portugal), „Alexandru Ioan Cuza of Iași” (Romania), Friedrich Schiller University of Jena (Germany), the University of Poitiers (France), the University of Salamanca (Spain) and the University of Turku (Finland).
