Da UniPv due nuovi "Ambassadors" per l’Alleanza EC2U: per Alessia e Alberto l’avventura inizia da Poitiers
(English below) L’Università di Pavia ha due nuovi "Ambassadors" per l’Alleanza EC2U. Si chiamano Alessia Martinelli e Alberto Spanò, studenti dell’Ateneo pavese: per un anno avranno il compito di promuovere l’Alleanza, raccontare le opportunità offerte e mostrare cosa significa farne parte.
Nel mese di novembre, hanno raggiunto l’Università di Poitiers (Francia) per la EC2U Ambassadors training week, dove oltre ai colleghi francesi hanno incontrato gli Ambassadors di Salamanca, Turku, Coimbra, Jena, Iasi e Linz. Tra le attività proposte durante la trasferta, i workshop di “Comunicazione Interculturale”, “Public Speaking” e “Understanding your target” hanno aiutato i nuovi Ambassadors a conoscere meglio la realtà EC2U, il pubblico cui si rivolge e gli strumenti a loro disposizione per condurre l’attività di disseminazione e avere un impatto significativo sulla comunità accademica locale e non solo.
Per Alessia, essere un EC2U Ambassador «è un’opportunità incredibile», commenta. «Durante la training week a Poitiers, in poco tempo ho legato con gli altri Ambassadors e creato nuove amicizie da ogni parte d’Europa. EC2U Alliance è una realtà che amplia la tua visione, arricchisce la tua esperienza universitaria e ti fa comprendere cosa significa essere uno studente e cittadino dell’Unione Europea».
Esperienza entusiasmante anche per Alberto: «Non mi sarei mai aspettato di trovare un ambiente così stimolante e inclusivo – aggiunge - Posso dire di non aver avuto molte occasioni del genere per conoscere nuove culture e allo stesso tempo arricchirmi sotto il punto di vista professionale. È stata un’esperienza unica!»

Two new UniPv Ambassadors for the EC2U Alliance: Alessia and Alberto’s journey begins in Poitiers
The University of Pavia has two new Ambassadors for the EC2U Alliance. Alessia Martinelli and Alberto Spanò, students at the Pavia University, will be in charge of promoting the Alliance for one year, sharing its opportunities and values.
In November, they traveled to the University of Poitiers (France) for the EC2U Ambassadors training week, where, alongside their French colleagues, they met Ambassadors from Salamanca, Turku, Coimbra, Jena, Iași, and Linz. Workshops such as "Intercultural Communication," "Public Speaking," and "Understanding Your Target" helped the new Ambassadors to gain a deeper understanding of the EC2U reality, its target audience, and the tools available to them to carry out their dissemination activities and make a significant impact on both the local academic community and beyond.
For Alessia Martinelli, being an EC2U Ambassador is «an incredible opportunity», she says. «During the training week in Poitiers, I quickly bonded with the other Ambassadors and created new friendships from all over Europe. The EC2U Alliance broadens your perspective, enriches your university experience, and helps you understand what it means to be a student and citizen of the European Union».
Alberto Spanò also described the experience as thrilling: «I never expected to find such a stimulating and inclusive environment," he added. "I had a lot of opportunities to learn about new cultures while enriching myself professionally. It was a unique experience!»
For the new EC2U Ambassadors, the upcoming year will be an opportunity to deepen these new intercultural relationships and actively promote the EC2U Alliance within the UNIPV community and beyond.
