L'Università di Pavia partecipa all'incontro dell’Employability Working Group del Gruppo Coimbra a Bruxelles
(English below) Lo scorso 2 dicembre si è tenuto, presso la sede del Coimbra Group a Bruxelles, l’incontro invernale dell’Employability Working Group del Coimbra Group, rete che riunisce storiche università europee multidisciplinari di alto profilo internazionale.
Per l’Università di Pavia ha partecipato Stefania Mellera del COR – Centro Orientamento.
L’appuntamento ha riunito rappresentanti di diversi atenei europei, offrendo un’importante occasione di confronto sulle buone pratiche in tema di occupabilità e sviluppo delle competenze degli studenti. Al centro del dialogo, le nuove sfide legate alle trasformazioni sociali e digitali, che richiedono a università e studenti un costante adattamento di conoscenze e abilità alle esigenze del mercato del lavoro, anche grazie alla presenza di due relatori ospiti: un Policy Officer del Directorate-General Education, Youth and Sport che ha parlato di piani strategici per la diffusione delle competenze STEM; un Youth and Education Officer dell'UNEP che ha presentato l’iniziativa Green Jobs for Youth Pact di green jobs, STEM.
Durante il meeting, la dott.ssa Mellera ha presentato la prima versione del Report interno sulle Micro-credentials, elaborato a partire da un sondaggio diffuso lo scorso giugno tra i membri del gruppo di lavoro per rilevare il livello di conoscenza e implementazione del tema nei diversi atenei.
La presenza della dott.ssa Stefania Mellera conferma il ruolo attivo dell’Università di Pavia nel dialogo internazionale tra istituzioni accademiche, valorizzando anche l’esperienza maturata all’interno dell’Alleanza EC2U nel WP8 Subgroup LongLifeCareer, dedicato proprio al tema delle Micro-credentials.

The University of Pavia participates in the Employability Working Group del Gruppo Coimbra a Bruxelles
On December 2, Coimbra Group headquarters in Brussels hosted the winter meeting of the Employability Working Group of the Coimbra Group, a network bringing together long-established, multidisciplinary European universities of high international standing.
Representing the University of Pavia, Stefania Mellera working at COR (Centro Orientamento) took part in the event.
The meeting gathered representatives from various European universities and offered an important opportunity to exchange best practices on students’ employability and skills development. The discussions focused on the new challenges posed by social and digital transformations, which require universities and students alike to continuously adapt knowledge and competences to labour market needs thanks also to the contributions of two guest speakers: a Policy Officer from DG Education, Youth and Sport, who spoke about strategic plans for promoting STEM skills; and a Youth and Education Officer from UNEP, who presented the “Green Jobs for Youth Pact” initiative on green jobs and STEM.
During the meeting, Stefania Mellera presented the first version of the internal Report on Micro-credentials, developed on the basis of a survey circulated last June among working group members to assess awareness and implementation of micro-credentials within their institutions.
Stefania Mellera’s participation confirms the active role of the University of Pavia in international dialogue among academic institutions, also building on the experience gained within the EC2U Alliance’s WP8 LongLifeCareer Subgroup, specifically dedicated to the topic of micro-credentials.
