L'Università di Pavia partecipa al workshop dell’Employability WG del Coimbra Group a Dublino
(English below) Dal 27 al 28 novembre, il Trinity College di Dublino ha ospitato il workshop formativo “Future Skills for Employability” organizzato nell’ambito dell’Employability WG del Coimbra Group.
L’evento ha visto la partecipazione di 18 esponenti dei career service universitari provenienti dalle diverse Università Europee appartenenti al Coimbra Group, afferenti a 14 nazioni. L’incontro ha rappresentato un’importante opportunità di condivisione di buone pratiche, attraverso lo scambio reciproco di esperienze e la discussione di nuove tendenze e politiche, per rispondere alle nuove sfide che le trasformazioni sociali e digitali richiedono sia agli atenei, sia agli studenti in tema di adattabilità delle conoscenze e delle competenze alle esigenze del mercato del lavoro.
La dottoressa Stefania Mellera del COR - Centro Orientamento UniPv ha partecipato a questo workshop di formazione per il personale in staff ai career service universitari, che è stato progettato dalla Dott.ssa Orla Bannon - Direttore del Career Service del Trinity College e Presidente dell’Employability WG - insieme alla Dott.ssa Dott.ssa Annette Retsch, Responsabile del Career Centre dell’Università di Würzburg e vicepresidente dell’Employability WG.
Il programma ha previsto sessioni formative e di discussione sui seguenti temi:
- Incorporare le competenze trasversali nel curriculum accademico – la pratica della Dublin City University (Ciarán Dunne, Direttore delle competenze trasversali, DCU).
- Esplorare le opportunità di finanziamento e collaborazione (Diana Santos – International Partnerships Officer, Trinity Global e Silvia Gallagher – Trinity Research Fellow, CHARM-EU).
- Tavola rotonda: Competenza interculturale - Prepararsi per il mondo del lavoro globale (Rappresentante Deloitte, Rappresentante internazionale dei laureati Trinity e Louise Staunton - Direttore associato, Trinity Global Experience).
- Sviluppare le competenze in tema di sostenibilità negli studenti (Cicely Roche – Trinity Education in Sustainable Development Fellow).
- Forme di partnership e collaborazioni con i datori di lavoro (Hester Jackman – Partnership Development Officer, Trinity Careers Service).
- Buone pratiche nello sviluppo dei moduli formativi: il progetto Trinity Micro-credentials (Orla Bannon).

From November 27-28, Trinity College Dublin hosted the training workshop “Future Skills for Employability” organized as part of the Coimbra Group's Employability WG.
The event was attended by 18 University Career Service representatives from the different European Universities belonging to the Coimbra Group, from 14 countries. The meeting was an important opportunity to share best practices, through mutual exchange of experiences and discussion of new trends and policies, to respond to the new challenges that social and digital transformations require both universities and students in terms of adaptability of knowledge and skills to the needs of the labor market.
Stefania Mellera (COR), as staff of the University of Pavia Career Services, participated in this training workshop designed by Dr. Orla Bannon - Director of the Career Service at Trinity College and Chair of the Employability WG - together with Dr. Annette Retsch, Head of the Career Centre at the University of Würzburg and Vice Chair of the Employability WG.
The program included training and discussion sessions on the following topics:
- Embedding Transversal Skills in the Curriculum at DCU – the practice of the Dublin City University (Ciarán Dunne, Transversal Skills Director, Dublin City University).
- Exploring Funding and Collaboration Opportunities Diana Santos – International Partnerships Officer, Trinity Global e Silvia Gallagher – Trinity Research Fellow, CHARM-EU).
- Panel discussion: Intercultural Competence: Preparing for the Global Workplace (Deloitte Representative, Trinity international graduate representative, Louise Staunton – Associate Director, Trinity Global Experience).
- Developing Sustainability Competencies in (Cicely Roche – Trinity Education in Sustainable Development Fellow).
- Careers collaboration with (Hester Jackman – Partnership Development Officer, Trinity Careers Service).
- Good Practice in Module Development: learning from Trinity Micro-credentials Project (Orla Bannon)
