3rd Event “Visualising and Defending Values in Architectural Heritage Changes”
(English below) Si terrà il 5 dicembre 2024, in modalità virtuale, il terzo evento dell’International Lectures Cycle "Visualising and Defending Values in Architectural Heritage Changes".
Il ciclo di presentazioni internazionali è organizzato all’interno del progetto europeo MSCA “MOEBHIOS - Multi-attribute values’ OntologiEs to improve Built Heritage InformatiOn assessment in cluStered territories”, e coordinato dalla dott.ssa Raffaella De Marco del Dipartimento di Ingegneria Civile e Architettura DICAr, attualmente Marie Curie Fellow Researcher presso l’Università di Pavia e collaboratrice al laboratorio DAda-LAB.
Il ciclo di lezioni intende affrontare tematiche sui valori culturali, sociali, economici e archeologici associabili al patrimonio architettonico, in particolare esaltando l’applicazione di tecnologie digitali, dalla documentazione alla rappresentazione 3D, e le opportunità di divulgazione e interazione attraverso ambienti digitali narrativi. Il tema di studio definisce un quadro dinamico di approfondimento e riflessione sul Cultural Heritage, dove storia e comunità contribuiscono a scrivere una visione in continuo mutamento tra memoria e attualità. In tal modo, i valori e i significati dell’Architectural Heritage possono essere indirizzati in modo consapevole verso la comprensione, condivisione e protezione da parte della società civile.
Il terzo evento, organizzato e moderato dalla dott.ssa Raffaella De Marco dell’Università di Pavia e dalla prof.ssa Izabella Parowicz della European University Viadrina (Germania), si articola in 3 panel: "Spiritualità", "Condizionalità", "Estetica", e vede la partecipazione di professori e ricercatori internazionali provenienti da Italia, Portogallo, Polonia, Malta, Cipro e Iraq. Tra le ricerche presentate, progetti internazionali, attività di ricerca e azioni innovative tra settori accademici e professionali per la valorizzazione e l'indirizzo interdisciplinare della tutela del patrimonio architettonico.

It will be held on December 5th, 2024, in virtual mode, the third event of the International Lectures Cycle "Visualising and Defending Values in Architectural Heritage Changes".
The cycle of international lectures days is organized as part of the European project MSCA “MOEBHIOS - Multi-attribute values’ OntologiEs to improve Built Heritage InformatiOn assessment in cluStered territories”, and it is coordinated by dr. Raffaella De Marco from the Department of Civil Engineering and Architecture DICAr, actually Marie Curie Fellow Researcher at the University of Pavia and collaborator in the laboratory DAda-LAB.
The lecture series aims to address issues on cultural, social, economic, and archaeological values associated with architectural heritage, particularly by enhancing the application of digital technologies, from documentation to 3D representation, and opportunities for dissemination and interaction through narrative digital environments. The study theme defines a dynamic framework for in-depth study and reflection on Cultural Heritage, where history and community contribute to writing an ever-changing vision between memory and actuality. In this way, the values and significance of Architectural Heritage can be consciously directed toward understanding, sharing, and protection by civil society.
The third event, organised and moderated by Dr. Raffaella De Marco from the University of Pavia (Italy) and PD. Dr. Izabella Parowicz from European University Viadrina (Germany), is organised on 3 panels: “Spirituality”, “Conditionality”, “Aesthetics”, and features international professors and researchers from Italy, Portugal, Poland, Malta, Cyprus and Iraq. Among the presented research, international projects, research activities and innovative actions between academic and professional sectors for the valorisation and interdisciplinary address of Architectural Heritage protection.
