Evento conclusivo del progetto BRIGHTS – Bringing Higher Education Institutions Towards Sustainability
(English below) Venerdì 11 ottobre 2024 si terrà l’evento conclusivo di BRIGHTS – Bringing Higher Education Institutions Towards Sustainability, un progetto Erasmus KA2 - Cooperation partnership incentrato sul rafforzamento e la valorizzazione del ruolo delle università nel rispondere agli obiettivi dell’Agenda 2030 e del Green Deal.
BRIGHTS è un progetto coordinato dal centro GLOBEC dell'Università di Pavia, che lo ha portato avanti in sinergia con l’ufficio OSA (Office for Sustainable Actions) e in partenariato con la University of Cologne, la University of Cyprus e con i partner tecnici GaragErasmus e Reiss Romoli.
Nel corso del ciclo di vita del progetto sono stati realizzati tre importanti obiettivi: la creazione di corsi online suI Sustainable Development Goals, la definizione di metodologie didattiche innovative per l’insegnamento di tematiche di sostenibilità e la creazione di un handbook sulle best practices per lo stabilimento e gestione di uffici per la sostenibilità universitari.
Durante l’evento verranno presentati i risultati di progetto, si parlerà di Green deal europeo e del ruolo del progetto BRIGHTS nel perseguimento dei suoi obiettivi, si affronterà il tema del riconoscimento delle green skills tramite le micro-credentials.
L’evento si terrà a Bruxelles, presso l’Info Hub del Parlamento europeo the European Parliament venerdì 11 ottobre dalle 9:30 alle 12:00 (possibile partecipazione online).

The final event of the BRIGHTS – Bringing Higher Education Institutions Towards Sustainability project is taking place on the 11th of October.
BRIGHTS is a KA2 Cooperation partnership aiming at the strengthening and valorization of the central role of higher education institutions in tackling the 2030 Agenda, the Green Deal objectives, and overall environmental priorities.
BRIGHTS is coordinated by the University of Pavia GLOBEC center, and carried out in synergy with the OSA (Office for Sustainable Actions) and in partnership with the University of Cologne, the University of Cyprus and two technical partners: Reiss Romoli Srl, an information technology consultancy enterprise and GaragErasmus, the first professional network of the Erasmus Generation.
During its lifetime, the project developed an online course for students on the 2030 Agenda, guidelines on innovative teaching methodologies on sustainability and a handbook collecting and disseminating good practices related to the setting up of a Sustainability Centre (SC) in HEIs.
The final conference will see the presentation and interactive discussion on these three resources, as well as an intervention on the Green Deal, its next developments and BRIGHTS’s role in pursuing its objectives. Additionally, we will host and encourage a discussion on the recognition of green skills through microcredentials.
The event will be held in Brussels, at the Info Hub of the European Parliament on Friday 11th of October from 9:30 to 12:00 (online participation possible)
