Un webinar sulla salute globale in un mondo meno inquinato: così si chiude la prima edizione della Winter School su salute e benessere globale
Martedì 5 marzo 2024 si terrà il webinar “Imaging Global Health in a less polluted Earth” a conclusione della prima edizione della Winter School Global Health and Wellbeing. Measuring Progress towards the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Salute e benessere globale. Misurare i progressi verso l’obiettivo di sviluppo sostenibile delle Nazioni Unite 3), tenutasi dal 30 gennaio al 3 febbraio 2023 presso l’Università di Pavia.
L’evento è organizzato dal Dipartimento di Sanità Pubblica, Medicina Sperimentale e Forense e coordinato dalla prof.ssa Maria Cristina Monti e dalla dott.ssa Rachele De Giuseppe.
Il webinar si aprirà con una Tavola Rotonda sul tema “Measuring health and nutrition transition considering the role of pollution and biodiversity”, durante la quale interverranno esperti sia italiani sia stranieri.
Seguirà un Journal Club articolato su tre tematiche trattate in altrettante discussion room. In ciascuna di esse verrà discusso un top paper insieme agli studenti sotto la supervisione di tutor dell’Università di Pavia e di università straniere.
La partecipazione è gratuita e aperta a studenti, dottorandi, specializzandi e operatori del settore interessati al tema, previa registrazione entro il 3 marzo al link di iscrizione.

The webinar “Imaging Global Health in a less polluted Earth” closes the first edition of the Winter School on Global Health and Wellbeing
On Tuesday, March 5th 2024, the webinar "Imaging Global Health in a Less Polluted Earth" will be held to conclude the first edition of the Winter Global Health and Wellbeing. Measuring Progress towards the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 3 that took place from January 30th to February 3rd, 2023, at the University of Pavia.
The event is organized by the Department of Public Health, Experimental and Forensic Medicine and it is coordinated by Prof. Maria Cristina Monti and Dr. Rachele De Giuseppe.
The webinar will start with a round-table discussion on the topic "Measuring health and nutrition transition considering the role of pollution and biodiversity" featuring both Italian and international experts.
This will be followed by a Journal Club consisting of three thematic discussions held in separate rooms. In each discussion room, a top paper will be discussed with students under the supervision of tutors from the University of Pavia and foreign universities.
Participation is free and open to students, PhD candidates, specialty school students, and professionals in the field who are interested in the topic.
