Pavia ospita l’EC2U Student Event sulla “Global Citizenship Education”. Giovedì 9 ottobre poster session aperta alla cittadinanza
(English below) Dal 7 al 9 ottobre 2025 l’Università di Pavia ospita l’EC2U Student Event. Promosso dall’Alleanza EC2U (European Campus of City Universities) – di cui UniPv è partner – questa iniziativa internazionale riunirà oltre settanta studenti provenienti dalle nove università partner EC2U e una delegazione dell’Università Ivan Franko di Leopoli (Ucraina). Sarà un'opportunità unica per incontrarsi, condividere idee, riflettere insieme su temi di attualità e partecipare a varie attività sportive e culturali.
“Global Citizenship Education” è il tema scelto per l’edizione 2025. Per tre giorni, i partecipanti si confronteranno su come il mondo accademico possa promuovere l’educazione alla cittadinanza globale, lavorando in gruppi e partecipando a sessioni interattive, laboratori e momenti di networking.
L’obiettivo? Sviluppare progetti concreti a favore del dialogo interculturale, della solidarietà e dell’impegno civico.
Il risultato di questo percorso sarà presentato nella poster session conclusiva di giovedì 9 ottobre 2025, dalle 16:30 alle 19:00, a Palazzo San Tommaso (Aula G1). L’incontro è gratuito e aperto a studenti, docenti, personale universitario e a tutta la cittadinanza.
Sarà l’occasione per scoprire la ricchezza multiculturale dell’Alleanza EC2U e riflettere insieme su come promuovere l’educazione alla cittadinanza globale, partendo dalle nostre università e città.

Pavia hosts the EC2U Student Event on “Global Citizenship Education”
Thursday, 9 October – Poster session open to the public
From 7 to 9 October 2025, the University of Pavia will host the EC2U Student Event. As part of the activities of the EC2U Alliance – of which UniPv is a member – this international initiative will bring together more than seventy students from the nine EC2U universities, along with a delegation from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv (Ukraine). It will be a unique opportunity to meet, share ideas, reflect on current issues, and take part in a wide range of sports and cultural activities.
The theme of the 2025 edition is “Global Citizenship Education”. For three days, participants will explore how to foster global citizenship education, working in groups and engaging in interactive sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities.
The goal? To develop concrete projects that promote intercultural dialogue, solidarity, and civic engagement.
The results of this collaborative work will be presented at the final poster session on Thursday, 9 October 2025, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Palazzo San Tommaso (Room G1). The event is free and open to students, faculty, university staff, and the wider community.
This will be a unique occasion to experience the multicultural richness of the EC2U Alliance and to reflect on how universities and cities can foster global citizenship education.
